Regarding the finals ... I like the open finals, in fact, regardless of whether the characters have done well or not. Thank you very much, Ptah - you very subtly felt my feelings from writing stories - the ending was hard for me, although I almost from the very beginning planned how everything would end. And yes - the heroes live their own lives, so if you draw them into a whirlpool, then you have to wriggle out and sometimes overstep yourself.
