He even tried several times to beg for a visit to Alexander, in order to be able to meet Marina, at least with one glance at her. Or vice versa, talk and make sure that it is not worth his torment. But each time he put off the phone. “Nothing, everything will be settled,” he told himself. - “Soon I will forget her!”

Maybe it would really take some more time and Stas would start forgetting Marina, if one day there was no miracle. Alexander called him and made a fantastic offer. It turned out that Ivan Nikolaevich either retired or took a vacation. Now Alexander has become a director and now invites Stas to the post of his deputy. Back in his last visit, Stas noted that the company is huge. Therefore, naturally, he agreed without hesitation. And there was also Marina. Now Stas will definitely not miss his chance. Either she will become his girlfriend, or finally make sure that she is not worth his love. And it does not matter what the result will be. The main thing is that this will be a response to his actions, and not doubts from his inaction.

In contrast to Stanislav, whose thoughts revolved mainly around high feelings, the rest of the KIM company thought about more mundane things. After such a gorgeous celebration of the New Year, when everyone was given a prize, when they demonstrated that the company was booming and that the management appreciated its employees, nothing foretold that very soon everything would change.

For some reason, all of a sudden, Ivan Nikolaevich went on a long-term vacation. Even Marina Sergeevna, the chief accountant of the company, did not understand such a strange act of the director. If strangers had told her about it, and not the boss himself, she would never have believed it, because there was not even a hint that Ivan Nikolayevich wanted to leave the case.

Marina suspected that something very serious had to happen in order to make Ivan Nikolayevich, a workaholic, give up his life's work. Various assumptions came to my head, starting with the fact that he was being persecuted - no matter who, maybe the law enforcement agencies, maybe a crime - ending with the fact that he had some kind of family problems. But the fact that they are going to Switzerland with the whole family somehow excluded the last item from the list.

Marina was at a loss, but no one explained anything to her. And then the other girls started harassing her. What will happen next? Will they sell the company, will their workplaces and wages remain? She reassured everyone, they said, she hadn’t seen any papers about the sale, which means she had to worry. Moreover, Alexander Vasilievich remains, it means that the company will continue to work, as always.

But there was no one to calm Marina. She was pretty well versed in human emotions, so she immediately realized that Alexander was very excited. She would even say that he is afraid of something. So today sits silent, distracted, sad eyes ... Constantly grabs the phone, but does not ring anywhere.

Marina could hardly believe that this sincere simple girl could bear some tricky plans for Alexander, but for some reason she remembered the incident that had occurred several months ago. Then Sveta remained alone in the office, and then for some reason she cried and asked to go home. She told something about a terrible dream that she dreamed, but Marina even then suspected something was wrong. Maybe Svetlana learned something that would shed light on today's events? But she is silent. Behaves as usual, if you do not take into account that the girl's eyes really shine with love when she looks at Alexander. But Marina did not doubt that Sveta could know something, because besides love, fear and anxiety could be read in her eyes, as well as in Alexander Vasilyevich's eyes.

More than a week has passed since Ivan Nikolaevich left, and the office turned into hell more and more. Svetlana helped Alexander, for some reason interfered in those matters where she shouldn’t intervene, she was constantly nervous. Alexander was hard to learn at all. He lost weight, he was constantly sad, anxious, he was doing bad business. Unsolved questions accumulated, and then were solved in an emergency mode, therefore the result was appropriate. Marina has already begun to fear if this is the beginning of the end of their prosperous and prosperous company.

But one day, Alexander said that they would soon have a new deputy. It was warm hope that, perhaps, now everything will be fine.
