At the very beginning, many epochs back, it was a dark spirit, hovering above the earth without meaning and purpose. As soon as the Sun rose, he was forced to seek shelter in the shadows, so as not to give the blinding light to dispel his ephemeral body. Many like him found shelter in deep dungeons where sunlight never gets, but he did not want to. He did not like musty mounds and caves, the eternal existence in a confined space seemed to him painful. After long wanderings, he found refuge in the shade of dense tropical forests. The crowns of trees created twilight. There was no need to hide during the day and wait. He did not know sleep and fatigue, but he had nothing to spend his unlimited time on.

Much time has passed. People settled in his forest. Ignorant, primitive savages, who knew neither metal nor clay. They could not see him, but they could feel him. They frightened him and made sacrifices to cajole. He did not need anything material, but he felt that their fear and faith gave him strength, allowing him to influence the world around him more and more. The offerings were not too plentiful, people barely survived in the forest infested with poisonous creatures, and all their strength went to fight with nature. He helped them to fill their bellies, in response, they made him their god. At first they were afraid to mention him, but then they came up with a name for him - Umurumuru. He learned human language in order to understand their requests and wishes. People multiplied, and their faith was strengthened and complicated. Priests appeared, rituals were invented, altars and shrines were built. They even wanted to offer him human sacrifices, but he was opposed, because the more victims, the less admirers he has, which made him weaker. The priests invented more and more complex ways of worshiping him, not forgetting about their pockets and attractive novices. He did not have sex, but people considered him a man, because they thought that only man could be the main thing. He helped his subjects even in small things, telling how best to equip a home and how to hunt more effectively. The more they followed his advice, the more numerous the tribe became. Umurumuru did not interfere with uncontrolled reproduction, because each new follower multiplied his power.

The forest was large and inhabited by many tribes, but its people conquered all, surpassing the rest in number and cunning. He ordered his soldiers to have sex with all the women of the conquered tribes, and this order was gladly executed many times.

Centuries passed. His followers became so much that the forest could not feed everyone.Hunger threatened his subjects, so he ordered them to leave the forest and conquer those who live on the plains to the north of it. The result discouraged him. For every enemy warrior who died, there were several of his own. Northerners knew how to smelt metal, built fortified settlements and rode astride tamed animals. They did not hunt or collect the gifts of nature, they sowed plants in the fields and harvested. After thousands of years of living in the forest, such a way of life seemed strange to Umurumuru, but he realized that he had a future. At the cost of large losses, his soldiers captured several settlements in order to learn more about farming and metals, but the enemy joined forces. After a bloody battle, the remnants of his army fled back to the forest.

The next year, his warriors returned with rich gifts. At first, the northerners were hostile, but gradually the stream of gifts and praises put their vigilance to sleep. Forest beauties became the wives and concubines of the leaders, the treasuries were filled with river gold and raw rubies, savages willingly took on any work, if only there was an opportunity to be among the northerners. Forest residents are no longer perceived as a threat, seeing in them only a stupid workforce, cheap workers, willing to do anything for little money.

In the south, the forest gradually turned into mountains. In the foothills there were fertile lands on which it was possible to grow the same crops that grew in the north. In these mountains, people lived fierce and wild. Before that, Umurumuru did not see the point of fighting with them, but now the war has become necessary to secure the future fields of the forest people. Again the men were killed, and the women became the wives of the victorious warriors. The fields planted with seeds bought from the northerners have scurried. Ore was found, brilliant metal was smelted from it to forge a weapon.

Several decades of preparation was carried out, but it took only a couple of months to seize the northern lands. Scattered northerners who did not expect an attack from the southern savages, could not resist their weapons, enhanced by the magic of the dark deity. All men were sent through the forest to the south, to cultivate the foothills. Women also waited another fate. In words, each of them had a new husband, but in fact it was impossible to say who was the father of her child when he was born. The winners organized crowded orgies, several times a year collecting all the women from several neighboring settlements at once. And in everyday life, few forest dwellers distinguished their wives from others, with corresponding consequences. Umurumuru did not expect such an effect on his religion, but did not prevent these customs.

Centuries passed. The union of tribes became the state, the state became the Empire. None of the neighbors could threaten the cities united by a single religion, which spread from the impassable mountains in the south to the drying out deserts in the north. His warriors were numerous and longed for more and more new conquests. Thanks to the fantasy of the priests, Umurumur had many images - dragons, giant toads, crocodiles, snakes, lizards. All of them had a mouth with a variety of teeth, by which believers recognized the next statue of their deity. He himself did not have a material form, but people needed an image to worship him. Many temples of the toothy deity were built then, but few of them have survived to this day. The most magnificent was the temple near the city of Valops. It was so huge that it was possible to walk on it for several days and not see all its passages and corridors, not to mention the secret rooms, dungeons and treasuries. Umurumuru was proud of himself, admiring his temple, thinking that his empire would grow until it covered the whole world, but the virtuals who had created it thought otherwise.

Players came to Andorra. At first they were weak, forced to join groups for battle, even with ordinary forest animals. Their levels gradually grew, they gained more and more influence in society. Finally, they became leaders of states, created powerful guilds, reshaped the political map in their own way. After many years of struggle, the Empire fell under the onslaught of newcomers, who were reborn every time, no matter how many times they were killed. Excessive impact of players on the game world was the reason for its first restart, when Andorra 1 became Andorra 2, but Umurumuru could not know this, since it existed only in virtual reality.

These were difficult years for the dark god. He was forgotten. The army commanders of the players divided his lands among themselves, and then disappeared, having lost their levels when the game was restarted. Walops turned into ruins and overgrown with the jungle, his favorite temple became the home of small primitive creatures, the players came to him as to his home, not showing the slightest reverence to his master. Take the same Arintala, who dared to put his ass on his altar, mocking him. Fortunately, his most powerful servants survived and managed to punish the insolent, but they themselves will someday be found and destroyed. However, Arintal can be useful and become one of the bricks in the foundation of its elevation.

Umurumuru dropped the memories and focused on the current moment. His faithful follower was about to come to the altar.

The stately hall was half filled with water. Most of it was occupied by a stone statue of a creature resembling a cross between a dragon and a toad. A massive ugly head with several rows of teeth in its mouth towered above the incoming. Two eyes - large ruby - were directed ...
